Convert 1 regular skill point into 1 Hero skill point for 1 platinum? Yeah, there's a feature I'm going to be using every day! Another unwanted, unneeded gold sink added under Anet's assumption that every single player is a virtual millionaire.

I see my Ranger's 200+ skill points are still going to go to waste...

Lol they took me seriously.

To acquire a Kurzick or Luxon skill, talk to a Faction Reward NPC. Each skill costs 3,000 faction points. Kurzick/Luxon skills become more powerful the higher your rank in the corresponding title track. You must have at least rank 1 in the Kurzick/Luxon title track to learn any Kurzick/Luxon skills.

I actually like the mesmer AoE effect. Ritualists have a spirit now that steals health and gives it to them. Nice. Warrior... that will work with a hammer. Ouch potential.

Can someone make the list of the new Kurzick and Luxon skills as well? I can only see one side since I am allied with the kurzicks.

Looks like someone didnt read the update.

Quote:
Warrior
Agonizing Chop: decreased activation time to .5 seconds.
Battle Rage: increased movement speed to 33%.
Dwarven Battle Stance: decreased recharge time to 20 seconds.
Warrior's Endurance: increased duration to 5..35 seconds.
Yeti Smash: decreased adrenaline cost to 6 strikes.
If Yeti Smash hits, target foe is struck for +5...17 damage and all adjacent foes take 5...41 damage

and no ones going to take a Mesmer for that Sunspear skill when the fact that Anet puckered up and kissed some massive ass for the Soul Reaping changed with Necrosis.

Now, let's calm down and think about using the warrior sunspear skill to more quickly charge yeti smash. Multiple hits = multiple adrenaline gain.

You don't take mesmers for one skill. You take them... well, because they're mesmers.

Does that dervish skill recharge the avatars too?

Kurzick/luxon skills? Wasn't the grind to get through the game enough? I see where this is going: in gwen you'll have to grind to get all your new skills. Yay! Not.

I've been trying to come up with something snide, sarcastic and witty to reply to this. I wanted something as stingy as your post is stupid. But so far, I've got nothing. I really want stupidity to hurt... Tell me, RSGashapon, do you hurt?

Im liking all the new Faction and SS skills, plus the update to the Friends title track. The updates to the existing skills will probably change a little, or a lot in a few cases. Overall though good update. Oh.... and at RSGashapon, it's not a feature to be used every day, nor is it a new title so you dont HAVE to use all your skill points. It's for people who want to give their heroes skills they don't currently have access to. I'll put your comment down to a lack of understanding and not stupidity

edit: @ Racthoh, new SS Para skill is probably compensation for the Incoming change. Good way of separating pvp and pve balance.

I agree with you, but hey kind of made it a bit easier with this:

Quote:
Title Updates

In order to accommodate the addition of Kurzick and Luxon PvE skills, the Friend of the Kurzicks and Friend of the Luxon titles have been modified:

-The number of ranks for these titles has been significantly increased. The faction point requirement for the top rank is still the same, but the faction requirement for the first rank has been lowered.

-The Faction Transfer and Faction Rewards NPCs have been combined.
Exchanging faction points for amber or jade now gives progress toward these titles.

-The blessing provided by Kurzick and Luxon shrine priests now gives progress toward these titles for kills earned while under the blessing’s effects.

-Exchanging faction points for Kurzick/Luxon skills will also give progress toward these titles.

Anybody able to post Luxon Skills? I'm unhappy with the Kurzick Mesmer one (Not PvE related)

I don't, but my vault box does. Because it's empty! Thanks to loot scaling and all the combined gold sinks this game, the "casual player" Anet so cares about can't make a dime anymore.

Before all the recent changes, I could make 100k in a week, just by playing. No farming, no trading, just enjoying killings things by the truckload. Full hench teams, too.

Such is no longer the case. Same play style, still no farming or trading... barely 10k. All thanks to the sniveling of others and the ruin that bots have wrought.
